Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Metis (the “Service”), operated by EIKIRA LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. What the Service Is
Metis is an AI‑guided conversation tool that helps a business owner articulate a brand foundation — mission, values, voice, positioning, and direction — built from their own answers to a structured interview conducted by an AI interviewer (the “Foundation Builder”). The output is a generated document intended as a working draft and discussion starting point, not a finished, professionally reviewed brand strategy. Eiki, an AI assistant, then works from that foundation to help you draft and check copy; what it writes is also a draft for you to review.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the Service. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
3. Your Content
Your content is yours: everything you type during the intake conversation, the foundation document generated from it, the documents and graphics you upload, and your conversations with Eiki. We claim no ownership over it. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service to you — including sending it to the third‑party AI provider that powers Eiki’s responses and the document generation (see our Privacy Policy for details on that processing).
Don’t submit content that’s unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, or contains sensitive personal data you don’t have the right to share (for example, another person’s financial or health information).
4. AI‑Generated Output
The foundation document, and anything else Eiki generates, is produced by an AI system and may contain mistakes, omissions, or language that doesn’t perfectly reflect your intent. Review it critically before relying on it or presenting it externally. The Service is a drafting and discovery tool, not professional branding, legal, or business advice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond your own account’s content.
- Direct hostile, abusive, or harassing content at Eiki, our team, or other users.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or business.
6. Plans, Billing & Refunds
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, at the prices shown at checkout, which are incorporated into these Terms. A foundation is a one‑time purchase. Eiki is a monthly subscription, billed in advance, that renews each month until you cancel.
You can cancel Eiki at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and Eiki stays available until then. If a payment fails, Eiki keeps working while the payment is retried and pauses if the subscription becomes unpaid. Your foundation and its PDF are never affected by billing.
All sales are final and we don’t offer refunds, including for partial months or unused time, except where the law requires one. If your foundation fails to generate because of an error on our side, we’ll fix it by regenerating it at no cost.
If a price changes, we’ll tell you before it applies to your next renewal. Prices don’t include taxes where taxes apply.
Founding testers. If you redeemed or requested an invite code before October 5, 2026, you’re a founding tester. Your foundation and its PDF stay free for good, which means for as long as we offer Metis. Eiki is free through January 5, 2027 (U.S. Central time), with no card needed. After that date Eiki pauses until you choose a plan; we’ll email you before it does.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time, and delete your account from Settings or by contacting us. We may remove any content that violates these Terms at any time, without prior notice. We may also suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms, or discontinue the Service generally, with notice where reasonably practical.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service itself — its software, design, branding, and the Metis and Eiki names and marks — is owned by EIKIRA LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non‑infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EIKIRA LLC won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for decisions made based on AI‑generated output.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
